Job summary

VON Canada is seeking a Visiting Nurse to deliver holistic, person‑centred care in clients’ homes, clinics, or virtually. You’ll assess needs, support families, and collaborate with healthcare teams to provide high-quality primary care with autonomy and compassion.

The role covers in-home and community settings, with travel as needed. Licensure as a Registered Practical Nurse is required; driving and PPE are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of practice.
• Community health experience is an asset.
• Must enjoy driving, have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Our Visiting nurses provide client care in the client’s own home. They provide physical assessments, symptom control support, palliative care, rehabilitation therapy, wound care, education, counselling to individuals and families and much more.
