Job summary

VON Canada is hiring a Visiting Nurse for a part-time, 0.2 FTE position with night shifts. The role includes delivering holistic, person-centred care in clients' homes, clinics, virtually, and in community outreach, serving diverse age groups.

You will assess clients, administer medications, perform wound care, manage chronic diseases, collect specimens, and participate in palliative and rehabilitative programs, under the supervision of the care team.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of practice.
• Community health experience is an asset.
• Must enjoy driving, have a valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• A satisfactory Criminal Records Check is required; a Vulnerable Sector Search and/or Child Abuse Registry Check may also be necessary.
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
