Job summary

VON Canada seeks Registered Practical Nurse professionals to deliver holistic, client-centred care in home and community settings, including clinics and outreach. You’ll perform assessments, wound care, and education while coordinating with a broader care team to support patients across ages and needs.

Role offers full-scope practice, comprehensive orientation, and benefits; incentives through CCPN and relocation grants may apply for eligible nurses moving to Northern Ontario.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Registered Practical Nurse in the province of practice.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Satisfactory Criminal Records Check; Vulnerable Sector Search/Child Abuse Registry Check may be required.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

About the role

Our Visiting nurses provide client care in the client’s own home. They provide physical assessments, symptom control support, palliative care, rehabilitation therapy, wound care, education, counselling to individuals and families and much more.

Our Clinic nurses provide care in VON community clinics. Our clinics provide client assessments, wound care, IV medications, client and family education, and much more

What we're looking for
