Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to collaborate with the Director of Care in delivering resident care to meet individual needs, within the nurse's level of competency.

The RN will lead shift reports, coordinate nursing and other services, document changes in residents’ condition, and ensure physician orders are implemented promptly while upholding safety and quality standards across Ontario communities.

Qualifications

• Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care settings.
• Strong knowledge of nursing standards and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent team leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing and services for residents within the neighbourhood.
• Lead shift reports and ensure the team is informed of changes in residents’ status.
• Document changes in residents’ condition per policies and standards.
• Review and process physician orders promptly and communicate issues to leadership.
