AgeCare Dawson is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to collaborate with the Director of Care in delivering high-quality, person-centered resident care. The RN will apply nursing knowledge, judgment, and interpersonal skills to support safety, respect, and dignity for residents, families, and staff in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• Geriatric and long-term care nursing knowledge.
• Bachelor of Nursing with active RN licensure in good standing.
• Familiarity with Canadian health acts and safety regulations.
• Experience in activation, nursing, and personnel administration.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood.
• Lead shift report with health care team, informing changes in residents’ status.
• Document significant changes in residents’ condition per AgeCare policies.
• Review physician orders and ensure timely implementation.
• Escalate difficulties in processing orders to the Director of Care/Assistant Director of Care.
