AgeCare South Terrace in Edmonton is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for casual (on-site) shifts. The RN collaborates with the Director of Care to deliver safe, resident-centered nursing care within scope of practice.

You will promote teamwork, safety, and respect for residents, families, and staff while supporting the AgeCare mission. The role emphasizes coordinating services, leading shift reports, and ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of physician orders.

Qualifications

• Geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing background.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current provincial registration.
• Knowledge of relevant acts and safety regulations in healthcare.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood and with other services in the residence.
• Leads shift reports with the health care team and communicates status changes.
• Records significant changes in residents' condition and documents per policy.
• Reviews physician orders and ensures timely implementation; escalates issues promptly.
