Job summary

AgeCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with the Director of Care in delivering safe, ethical, resident-centered nursing services. You will promote teamwork and uphold AgeCare's mission, guiding principles, and values across multiple residences in Ontario.

You will coordinate nursing care, lead shift reports, and ensure accurate documentation while adhering to provincial standards. The role emphasizes resident safety, quality of life, and a supportive, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and current provincial registration.
• Strong knowledge of geriatric, rehabilitation or long-term care nursing.
• Familiarity with applicable Canadian health acts and regulations.
• Ability to lead shifts and coordinate care with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood and with other services in the residence.
• Leads shift reports with the health care team to inform on residents' status changes.
• Records significant changes in residents' condition and ensures chart documentation complies with policies and standards.
• Reviews and processes physician orders promptly and communicates delays to supervisors.
