AgeCare South Terrace in Edmonton is seeking a Registered Nurse to support resident care under the Director of Care. You will coordinate nursing and related services for residents, lead shift reports, and ensure timely, accurate documentation in line with AgeCare standards and provincial practice guidelines.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and a culture of respect for residents, families, and staff. Qualification includes a Bachelor’s in Nursing and active provincial registration;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and registration in good standing with the provincial registry.
• Knowledge of applicable health acts and safety regulations that govern long‑term care.
• Current registration with the provincial nursing regulator is required.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate nursing and other services for residents within the neighbourhood and with other services in the residence.
• Lead shift reports with health care team members and communicate changes in residents’ status.
• Record significant changes in residents’ condition and ensure chart documentation meets policies and standards.
• Review and process physician orders promptly and accurately.
• Communicate difficulties in processing orders to the Director of Care/Assistant Director of Care.
