Nurse Next Door Home Care Services in Vancouver is hiring compassionate caregivers to service the Vancouver area. You will provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and personal care following each client’s care plan, while ensuring safety and accurate documentation.

Formación

• 1 year of caregiving experience is required.
• Must be able to communicate in English, verbally and in writing.
• Proof of BC Health Care Certification (Registry #) is required.
• Current TB Screen, First Aid/CPR certificate and Criminal Record Check are required.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada to apply.
• Valid driver’s license and a reliable vehicle are assets.

Responsabilidades

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care.
• Follow the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Service the Vancouver area and accommodate various visit times (700–1500, 1500–2300, 2300–700).

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service the Vancouver area
• Looking for all visit times (700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-700) weekdays and weekends

Requirements

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to community verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• Proof of BC Health Care Certification (Registry #)
• Current TB Screen, First Aid/CPR certificate and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is an asset.
