Nurse Next Door is hiring caregivers in Canada to support clients at home across Kamloops, Merritt, Prince George, Salmon Arm, and Chase. The role offers flexible scheduling and the chance to build meaningful relationships through Happier Aging.

Responsibilities include meal prep, light housekeeping, companionship, and following care plans with a focus on safety and client well-being. English communication is required; previous caregiving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year caregiving experience
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English

Responsabilités

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care
• Follow the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet safety needs and use equipment safely
• Work within your experience while maintaining safety and competence
• Complete records and documentation accurately
• Serve Kamloops, Merritt, Prince George, Salmon Arm, Chase; coordinate visit times (700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-700) for weekdays and weekends

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service the Kamloops, Merritt, Prince George, Salmon Arm, Chase
• Looking for all visit times (700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-700) weekdays and weekends. PT, FT, and Casual

Requirements

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to community verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required
