Nurse Next Door Home Care Services in Canada is hiring caring professionals to provide in-home support, meals, companionship, and personal care aligned with each client’s care plan. Growth opportunities exist as you develop professionally within the Happier Aging philosophy.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Ability to communicate in English, both spoken and written.
• CPR certification is required.
• Up-to-date TB screen and criminal record check completed.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada and a valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises.
• Help clients with ADLs that are within your scope of practice.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Assist clients with transfers, ambulation, and exercises
• Help clients with their ADL’s (Activities of Daily Living) that are within your scope of practice

Requirements

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to community verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• CPR Certification
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required
