Nurse Next Door Home Care Services is seeking caring caregivers to deliver Happier Aging in the Sunshine Coast area. Qualifications

• 2 years previous caregiving experience.
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal).
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check.
• Must be able to legally work in BC, Canada to apply for this position.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Passion for delivering Happier Aging and client focused care in home and community settings.
• Assisting clients with activities of daily living: meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, personal care.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description.
• Reviewing progress notes prior to a visit, completing records and documentation accurately and carrying out all assignments as requested.
• Service the Sunshine Coast area.
• Visit times (7am – 8pm) weekdays and weekends.
