Job summary

Nurse Next Door in Vancouver is seeking compassionate caregivers to deliver in-home care with dignity and respect. You will work with private clients across the Vancouver area, following individualized care plans, providing meal prep, light housekeeping, and companionship.

The role offers a pay rate of CAD 23.00 to 25.00 per hour, a comprehensive benefits package for 30+ hours weekly, 24/7 scheduling support, paid mileage, and no union dues.

Qualifications

• 1 year previous caregiving experience.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English.
• Proof of BC Health Care Certification (Registry #).
• Current TB Screen, First Aid/CPR certificate and Criminal Record Check.
• Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description.
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
• Service the Vancouver area.
• Looking for all visit times (700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-700) weekdays and weekends.
