Nurse Next Door Home Care Services in Canada is hiring compassionate caregivers to support seniors at home and deliver Happier Aging. We offer flexible scheduling across Kamloops, Merritt, Prince George, Salmon Arm, and Chase, with 24/7 support for you and clients.

Join our Caring team to provide meals, light housekeeping, companionship, and personal care while following individual care plans and maintaining safety. English communication and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• 1 year caregiving experience
• Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written)
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• Eligible to work in Canada
• Valid driver’s license

Responsabilités

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care
• Follow the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Ensure client safety and use equipment safely
• Work within your experience and maintain safety
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service Kamloops, Merritt, Prince George, Salmon Arm, Chase
• Offer visits across all shifts (700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-700); PT, FT, Casual

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Service the Kamloops, Merritt, Prince George, Salmon Arm, Chase
• Looking for all visit times (700-1500, 1500-2300, 2300-700) weekdays and weekends. PT, FT, and Casual

Requirements

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to community verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position
• Valid driver’s license is required
