Nurse Next Door Home Care Services in Ontario is seeking compassionate caregivers to provide in-home support for clients in need of assistance with daily living. The role offers a pay rate of $26.00 per hour, a robust benefits package for those working 20+ hours per week, and access to a 24/7 scheduling support center.

As a caregiver, you will assist with meals, light housekeeping, personal care and wellbeing checks while following the client care plan.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience.
• English verbal and written communication.
• Registration with CNO in good standing.
• TB screen and criminal record check.
• Legal eligibility to work in Canada.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic medical attention and assess wellbeing.
• Meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship and personal care.
• Check vital signs and record patient medical history.
• Follow the client care plan as outlined by the Care Designer.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
• Complete records and documentation thoroughly.
• Looking for Day shifts, Evenings and Weekends as Needed.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Provide basic medical attention to Clients and assessing their wellbeing as part of a larger medical team
• Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care
• Duties include checking vital signs, recording a patient’s medical history and assisting patients with hygiene.
• Execute on the client’s care plan as outlined by the Care Designer
• Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly
• Function within the limits of your own experience and knowledge, while practicing safely and competently within the job description
• Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly
• Looking for Day shifts, Evenings and Weekends as Needed

Requirements

• 1 year previous caregiving experience
• Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English, other languages are an asset
• In Good Standing(Registration #) with CNO
• Current TB Screen and Criminal Record Check
• Must be able to legally work in Canada to apply for this position
• Valid driver's license is required
