Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking an Area Sales Manager for Western Canada to lead a team of Manufacturer Representatives and achieve monthly quotas for Exacq, Kantech and Illustrain. The role is based in Alberta or British Columbia, preferably Calgary or Edmonton, with a proven track record in commercial security sales.

You will develop dealer partnerships, manage pipeline and forecasting, and represent the company at regional events. Expect 50% travel and a dynamic, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of sales experience in commercial security products (Access Control and/or Video Surveillance).
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in sales channel management including distribution.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute strategies to strengthen relationships with Dealers, Distributors, Specifiers / A&E’s and 3rd party technology partners in Western Canada.
• Develop new dealer partnerships and promote all brands.
• Manage and report on sales activities, pipeline and forecasting; provide timely performance data.
• Represent Johnson Controls Security Products at industry events and tradeshows; collaborate with sales and leadership as needed.
