Job summary

Encore is seeking a Regional Field Manager to lead a team of part-time sales and merchandising reps across the Calgary region. You will drive distribution, visibility, and brand priorities at retail, while building strong store relationships to meet client objectives.

The role emphasizes inspirational leadership, strategic alignment with corporate goals, and a hands-on approach to coaching in a dynamic food and grocery environment. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successfully leading teams in a grocery environment.
• 5 years of CPG or Category experience.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel 10–15% overnight.

Responsibilities

• Lead your team to meet objectives and build relationships with department managers.
• Increase sales and distribution through merchandising activities.
• Communicate retail priorities to your team and optimize call coverage.
• Spend significant time in field training and supporting the team.
• Lead retail sales during seasonal activations and launches.
• Review performance and adjust plans to achieve targets.
• Provide ongoing training and travel across the region as required.
• Maintain communication with the retail team and client contacts.
• Track activity and performance against objectives using tracking tools.
• Support regional retail sales meetings and development processes.
