Placements24 is seeking a proactive Recruitment Consultant to specialise in industrial and manufacturing roles. Working remotely, you will source skilled tradespeople, engineers, technicians and operators for plants and facilities across the Northern Cape region, connecting employers with the talent they need.

You will manage the full-cycle recruitment process, conduct screenings and interviews, negotiate offers and support onboarding, while staying current with industry trends and safety

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment, ideally industrial/manufacturing or technical roles.
• Understanding of trades, engineering disciplines and manufacturing processes.
• Strong sourcing and candidate engagement skills for technical roles.

About the Role

Our client, a specialist recruitment consultancy in Kimberley, is looking for a proactive Recruitment Consultant to focus on the industrial and manufacturing sectors within the Northern Cape. You will be responsible for sourcing skilled tradespeople, engineers, technicians, and operational staff for manufacturing plants, industrial facilities, and related businesses. This role requires a solid understanding of industrial processes, technical qualifications, and a commitment to connecting employers with the essential workforce they need to maintain and grow their operations. Operating remotely, you will be a key link between industry and talent.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the full recruitment process for industrial and manufacturing roles, ensuring timely and effective placements.
• Identify and attract qualified candidates, including artisans, machine operators, process engineers, and quality control specialists.
• Conduct thorough screenings and interviews to assess technical skills, safety consciousness, and fit for industrial environments.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the manufacturing and industrial sectors across the Northern Cape.
• Negotiate employment offers and manage the onboarding process for successful candidates.
• Stay updated on industry trends, safety standards, and the labor market specific to manufacturing and heavy industry.

Requirements

• Previous recruitment experience, ideally with a focus on industrial, manufacturing, or technical roles.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
