Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Subcontract Coordinator for a rail construction project in Canada. The role oversees contract administration, change management, and risk mitigation, coordinating with project teams to ensure compliance with contract terms and schedules while supporting successful delivery on site.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of contract management experience in major infrastructure or rail projects, with strong knowledge of applicable contracts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, Law, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Business or related field.
• 5+ years of contract management experience on major infrastructure or rail projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction contracts and rail project delivery methods (Design-Bid-Build, Design-Build, CM/GC, PPP).
• Experience administering change orders, claims, and dispute resolution processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage all contractual aspects of a rail construction project and oversee contract administrators.
• Coordinate change management, claims, and time extensions with stakeholders.
• Identify contractual risks and support cost control and forecasting.
• Maintain contract files and ensure compliance with requirements and milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and project teams to ensure compliance.
