Job summary

We are seeking a Systems Construction Manager for the ECWE project in Toronto, Ontario to lead railway systems construction across CBTC, TPSS, and SCADA, coordinating with civil teams and field crews.

The role emphasizes safety, schedule, and quality, requiring 10+ years in rail/large-scale infrastructure, a engineering degree, and OHSA/CEC knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent; transit leadership experience preferred.
• 10+ years construction management on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience with multi-discipline rail systems installation.
• Knowledge of OHSA, CEC, and Metrolinx/TTC field delivery rules.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all railway systems construction activities across the project lifecycle.
• Oversee installation for S&TCS, TPSS, communications, traction power, SCADA, and related infra.
• Coordinate interfaces between civil, track, and systems teams, and manage subcontractors.
• Promote safety, quality, and construction governance throughout execution.
• Assist in planning, procurement, and reporting of field activities.
