Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a Commercial Coordinator to manage contractual agreements and administration for major infrastructure projects in Canada. The role focuses on contract performance, risk assessment, and stakeholder communication to ensure on-time, on-budget project delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant bachelor's degree and 3-7 years in construction-related commercial roles, with strong MS Office skills and familiarity with contract management software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, law, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in a commercial or administrative role within the construction industry.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) and familiarity with project management or contract management software.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate in cross-functional teams.
• Proactive, self-managing, organized, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all contractual agreements between the project owner, stakeholders, and contractors.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual risks and liabilities.
• Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle, track milestones, and manage deliverables.
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely execution of obligations and adherence to schedules.
• Draft, review, and execute contracts in line with requirements and standards.
• Maintain contract records and a comprehensive database of key terms and renewals.
• Manage change orders, variations, and amendments to contracts as needed.
• Resolve contract-related claims, disputes, and conflicts with stakeholders.
• Liaise with legal counsel, project managers, and others to resolve disputes promptly.
