Job summary

ACCIONA in Canada seeks a Systems Construction Manager to lead the railway systems installation across a major transit project. You will oversee multi-discipline field teams, manage interfaces between civil and systems works, and ensure safety, quality, and schedule adherence from construction through to handover.

The role requires a strong background in rail systems, CBTC, traction power, and SCADA, with experience coordinating with contractors and design teams on complex urban infrastructure

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field.
• 10+ years of construction management experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading multi-discipline rail systems installation (CBTC, traction power, signaling).
• Knowledge of OHSA/Codes and regulatory requirements in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation works for railway systems including S&TCS, signaling, traction power, SCADA and related infrastructure.
• Ensure activities are performed per drawings, specs, procedures and project standards.
• Coordinate contractor mobilization, access requirements and work packaging strategies.
• Manage interfaces between civil and systems works and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Lead safety, quality control, and schedule management to meet milestones.
• Plan, track and report progress; drive problem solving and risk mitigation.
