ACCIONA is seeking a Senior Guideway Civil Coordinator to oversee civil engineering and construction activities for an elevated guideway project in Canada. You will assist the Civil Manager to ensure schedules, budgets, and safety standards are met while coordinating with Technical, Environmental, Quality, and Safety teams.

The role requires a post‑secondary degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 3–5 years in large infrastructure projects; subway and urban work experience is

Qualifications

• Post‑secondary degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a construction coordinator on large infrastructure projects.
• Experience with subway projects is an asset; urban infrastructure experience valued.
• Knowledge of City of Toronto, OPSS, and Metrolinx standards is an asset.
• Strong communication, problem solving and time management skills; safety‑oriented.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate civil engineering and construction activities within the elevated guideway project.
• Support the Civil Manager to meet schedules, budgets, quality and safety standards.
• Supervise subcontractors and construction teams to high standards of workmanship.
• Prepare and present regular progress reports on timelines, budget and issues.
• Track and maintain project documentation including change orders and permits.
