Qualifications

What You'll Do
  • Lead and conduct audits to ensure compliance with regulatory standards, ISO 9001, and internal policies
  • Review and interpret applicable regulations and aviation standards
  • Audit work orders for accuracy, completeness, and airworthiness
  • Communicate audit results and oversee corrective/preventive actions
  • Develop and maintain QA and SMS policies, procedures, and manuals
  • Liaise with customers and regulatory bodies, including Transport Canada
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance development for the QA team
  • Support Safety Management System activities, including investigations and corrective actions
  • Uphold documentation integrity, confidentiality, and best practices
What You Bring
  • Minimum 5 years in a technical aviation role
  • Experience in QA and/or SMS within the aviation industry
  • Valid TC AME licence or equivalent audit/SMS training and experience
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong teamwork orientation
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
