Base pay range

CA$31.00/hr - CA$34.00/hr

We are looking for five (5) Quality Analyst Technicians who will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of all audio-visual systems and equipment, including but not limited to:

  • Conducting QAQC testing on AV technologies such as Crestron/flex/MTR(s), SurfaceHubs, Dante, Biamp, QSYS, and related systems. Performing integration and functionality tests to ensure seamless interaction between AV components and UC technologies like Office 365 and Microsoft Teams.
  • Testing and troubleshooting conference meeting cameras (Poly, PTZ, OneBeyond, Qsys, Huddly, Logi) to ensure proper performance and integration with the AV system.
  • Verifying camera alignment, video quality, and compatibility with AV control systems.
  • Ensuring full integration and optimal functioning of UC technologies, especially Microsoft Teams and Office 365, within AV systems.
  • Testing interactions between conferencing systems, AV hardware, and software platforms for smooth user experiences.
  • Performing network compatibility testing for AV systems, including Wi-Fi, PoE, and firewall/security applications.
  • Testing data flow, latency, and connection stability across networks to meet company standards.
  • Using QSYS for operational testing, configuration, and verification across various AV setups.
  • Collaborating with engineering and IT teams to resolve QSYS system integration issues, ensuring high audio and video quality.
  • Implementing QA/QC best practices to meet performance, reliability, and safety standards.
  • Documenting and reporting test results, issues, and resolutions, ensuring procedures are clear and repeatable.
  • Working closely with engineering teams during installation or configuration, troubleshooting and retesting faulty components.
  • Providing technical support and guidance during deployment and troubleshooting phases.
  • Ability to work multiple days per week at CIBC Square in downtown Toronto.
  • QA/QC testing includes:
    • All AV displays and screen casting functionalities
    • All AV audio, video, and control functionalities
    • Meeting room booking functionalities
  • Camera AI testing includes:
    • Outlook booking
    • Non-Outlook booking
    • Scheduling functions like start, end, cancel, ad hoc, etc.
