Job summary

Zero-C is seeking a Purchasing and Estimating Technician to support our service team. You will manage purchases for technicians, prepare estimates from work orders, and ensure accurate, timely follow-up on customer files.

You will collaborate with suppliers and colleagues to optimize processes and maintain organized records. The role emphasizes attention to detail, strong communication in French, and ability to handle multiple files in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (DES) or equivalent.
• Experience with purchasing and estimating is welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchases for technicians and inventory, sourcing best prices.
• Independently process technician recommendations and follow up on requests.
• Prepare estimates based on work orders and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain rigorous management of estimates and customer files.

• Manage purchases for technicians and inventory while sourcing the best prices from suppliers.

• Replace the warehouse clerk during absences or according to operational needs.
• Actively collaborate with the entire department to ensure smooth communication.
• Perform any other related tasks that contribute to the team’s success.

• High school diploma (DES).
• Any combination of relevant education and experience will be considered.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365.
• Excellent command of French, both spoken and written.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational skills, priority management, and ability to meet deadlines.
