XNRGY Climate Systems is a North American leader in sustainable design and advanced manufacturing of custom air treatment systems focused on research and energy development contributing to the reduction of carbon footprint. XNRGY is seeking a qualified Electrical Technician to join its team located in St-Hubert.

Reporting to the Director of Systems Engineering, the selected candidate will be responsible for operational quality assurance of all electrical and control systems installed on the production line. This includes creating installation procedures, providing training, supervision, and execution end-of-line testing for electrical and control systems. In addition, you will be responsible for the adherence of electrical drawings and documentation for these units.

An overview of your responsibilities
  • Create electrical engineering documentation including installation procedures and work instructions
  • Read and understand electrical single line diagram, control schematic, and power distribution drawings
  • Train manufacturing installation technicians on sensor installations, fan/motor/controller programming
  • Support production as subject matter expert of controls and electrical equipment
  • Execute and train production technicians how to configure HVAC electrical equipment including VFDs, sensors, and other control devices
  • Create library of inspections and tests used in various HVAC electrical components
  • Technical expert for end-of-line electrical and control testing
What you\'ll need, among other things!
  • Associates’ degree in electrical technology, controls, or other related fields
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as electrical technician
  • Expertise in reading wiring diagrams, control schematics, P&IDs, and other technical drawings
  • Computer knowledge in MS Office Suite
  • Creative, innovative, and keen attention to details with strong work ethics
  • Proactive team player with a sense of responsibility and capable to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively when managing multiple tasks
