Job summary

Zéro-C is seeking an HVAC/R Service Refrigeration Technician to diagnose, maintain, and restart commercial systems across Quebec and certain regions of Canada. You will collaborate with the technical team to ensure performance and reliability of clients' installations.

The role emphasizes autonomy, on-road work, and ongoing training on new technologies and energy efficiency. A signing bonus is offered for experienced journeymen, with equipment and support provided.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and restart commercial HVAC/R systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures to restore operation quickly.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to extend equipment lifespan.
• Install and replace compressors, condensers, evaporators, and motors.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics for interventions.
• Carry out adjustments, commissioning, and final validations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service.
• Perform other related tasks.

• Work on systems using HFC, and CO₂ refrigerants to ensure proper operation (CO₂ training provided).
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical failures in order to restore systems quickly.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to extend the lifespan of equipment.
