Job Description
  • On behalf of the property owner, negotiate or approve rental or lease agreements.
  • Ensure that lease agreements are followed.
  • Hire and supervise support staff performing operational, clerical or maintenance duties.
  • Prepare and manage property service contracts, such as maintenance.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and renovations.
  • Property owners should keep track of the progress and cost of their work.
  • Compile and keep track of operating expenses and income.
  • Prepare expense and income statements.
  • Ensure that trouble calls from clients or tenants are responded to.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent knowledge of property administration and leasing.
  • Policies for building insurance (desirable).
