Job summary

Cooper Equipment Rentals is seeking a customer‑oriented propane delivery driver to service Edmonton area customers. You will deliver propane, load/unload at sites, and maintain accurate delivery records.

The role requires a valid commercial driver’s license with air endorsement, prior LPG experience is a plus, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather. You will work with dispatch to manage schedules, verify orders, and stay compliant with safety inspections.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 or 5 driver’s license with air endorsement and a clean driving record (<=3 demerits).
• Previous LPG/propane experience is an asset.
• Prior commercial driving experience is required.
• Comfortable with outdoor year‑round work and varying weather/road conditions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver propane to customer sites and load/unload for deliveries.
• Maintain delivery records and obtain customer signatures.
• Inform dispatch of delays and new sales opportunities.
• Double‑check deliveries to ensure orders are correct.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and check gas/oil levels.
• Keep the vehicle clean and professional at all times.

Perks!Competitive salary, with overtime availableExcellent benefit package with premiums paid by the companyUniform, safety boots/shoes, safety gear providedRRSP MatchSafety-minded organizationStable, year-round employmentContinuous training, learning and development opportunitiesFun-loving work environment with strong social responsibilityWhat You’ll Be Doing Duties and Responsibilities:Deliver propane to various work sites in [x location] and the surrounding area .Filling propane and loading/unloading for deliveries to customers sites.Ensure propane is secure per company procedure and inspect in transit if necessary.Maintain accurate delivery and pickup records.Secure customer signature on contract, if not already signed .Inform supervisor of difficulties with deliveries or pickups.Inform management of new sales opportunities and job sitesDouble-check deliveries to make sure customers receive exactly what they ordered.Communicate with dispatch if behind schedule, so customers may be notifiedPerform daily preventative maintenance inspections and safety checks to proactively identify and advise of any mechanical issues.Keep the truck in clean and professional condition at all times.Complete daily accurate pre-inspections and post- inspections regulatory logs and timesheets , as well as checking gas, oil and other fluid levels.What You’ll Bring to the TeamQualifications and Requirements:Valid Class 3 or 5 driver's license with air endorsement and a clean or satisfactory drive's abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You will be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request .Previous LPG/propane experience is considered an asset.Prior commercial driving experience is required .Comfortable with working outdoors year-round and driving in varying weather / road conditions .Comfortable with city driving.Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods .
