Job summary

Cooper Equipment Rentals is seeking motivated individuals to join our Brampton team. The role involves washing and maintaining pumps and power equipment, assisting with loading, and supporting inventory control in a busy yard.

Qualified candidates have a valid G/5 license, comfort with outdoor work year‑round, and either forklift experience or licensing. Strong problem solving and customer service are essential to succeed in this role at Cooper.

Qualifications

• Valid Class G/5 driver’s license with clean or satisfactory abstract.
• Must lift ~50 lbs and work outdoors year-round.
• Forklift license or experience is an asset.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational and team skills.

Responsibilities

• Wash/clean pump and power equipment on return.
• Maintain clean, organized yard and wash bay.
• Assist drivers with loading/unloading equipment.
• Operate heavy-duty forklift.
• Check for damage, report and tag for service.
• Assist with inventory management and cycle counts.
• Deliver small equipment and tools when needed.

Perks!Competitive salary, with overtime availableExcellent benefit package with premiums paid by the companyUniform, safety boots/shoes, safety gear providedRRSP MatchSafety-minded organizationStable, year-round employmentContinuous training, learning and development opportunitiesFun-loving work environment with strong social responsibilityWhat You’ll Be DoingDuties and Responsibilities:Wash/Clean pump and power equipment (generators, dewatering and sewage pumps, etc.) when it’s returned.Maintain a clean and organized equipment yard and wash bay area.Assist drivers with loading and unloading equipment.Operate heavy-duty forklift.Check equipment for damage upon return, report damage and fill out service tags for all returned equipment.Assist with inventory management.Deliver small equipment and tools if needed.Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.What You’ll Bring to the TeamQualifications and Requirements:Valid Class G/5 driver’s license required, with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You’ll be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
