Research Innovation and Workforce Development - NSCC Entrepreneurship

Continuing Full-time Position: Commencing approximately September 22, 2025

The salary scale for Professional Support 2 ranges from $70,228.25 to $87,849.46 per year. New Professional Support employees may receive up to seven steps for relevant occupational experience, up to a maximum of $76,947.98 annually.

What you will do
  • Support NSCC Entrepreneurship and its Senior Manager with entrepreneurship project duties, activities, events, and programming.
  • Support campuses and programs with entrepreneurship-related programming, projects, events, and activities.
  • Support the growth and development of Enactus Collide, Entrepreneur in the Making, and other similar entrepreneurial programs across the college.

This role focuses on program development that propels students into the entrepreneurial ecosystem from a local, national, and international perspective through the delivery of extra co- and extracurricular programming.

What you’ll need
  • Qualifications and Occupational Experience:
  • A two-year post-secondary diploma in a related discipline (e.g., Entrepreneurship, Business Administration, Office Administration, Library Information Technology, IT-related).
  • A diploma in Business Administration or related field in entrepreneurship or applied research would be preferred.
  • A minimum of three years (full-time equivalent) of related occupational experience in supporting entrepreneurs, including business advisories, navigating community partners, access to resources, and workshop delivery.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, email, virtual meeting platforms, and social media tools.
  • Comfortable working in a digital environment; takes responsibility for acquiring knowledge about advancing technology; committed to using technology to create an exceptional student experience.
  • Experience in training, facilitation, preparation, delivery, and evaluation. Knowledge of adult learning principles is an asset.
  • Experience supporting/providing service to staff, students, and prospective students.
