Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Project Coordinator for its Civil & Infrastructure division in Dorval, QC. You will manage schedules, support the project team, and communicate with clients, trade partners and consultants across large-scale construction initiatives.

Applicants should have 1–3 years in construction, a university degree or technical diploma, and a proven ability to collaborate. Geographic mobility is required for remote projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist project team with coordination and administration.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, trade partners and clients.
• Review and update construction schedules and shop drawings.
• Manage RFIs, purchase orders and project documents.
• Analyze quotes to identify best market prices.
• Compile and report on project progress for assigned projects.
• Promote HS&E compliance on-site with stakeholders.

As a Project Coordinator within Pomerleau's Civil & Infrastructure division, you will play a key role at the heart of the Deep foundations business unit. You'll manage multiple activities and schedules to gain a clearer view of customer, team and project needs. Working on large-scale construction projects - ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion - you'll play a crucial role in communicating with stakeholders, ensuring resource availability and overseeing various administrative tasks.

What you will do

• Assist the project team with your keen eye for detail in providing project coordination and administrative support.
• Utilize your passion for client services in ensuring open lines of communication when it comes to our team members, trade partners, consultants and clients.
• Diligently review, interpret and update our construction schedules.
• Utilize your passion for organization through the successful maintenance, review and follow-up of shop drawings, RFI’s, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents.
• Meticulously review, collect and analyze project quotes, seeking out the best prices in the market.
• Own the collection and completion of companywide project reports for your assigned projects.
• Be a role model for the application project specific safety standards helping to promote Pomerleau’s HS&E programs, applicable OH&S acts, regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on-site.

This role could be for you if you have

• 1-3 years’ working experience in the construction industry.
• A University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or a combination of education and industry experience.
• A proven track record of project coordination and team collaboration.
• A passion for providing exceptional client service.
• Geographic mobility to work on projects in remote regions, based on operational needs.
