Job summary

Pomerleau is seeking a Project Coordinator in its Civil & Infrastructure division in Canada, Montreal. You will manage multiple activities and schedules to support stakeholders, customers, and project teams on large-scale construction projects from $1.5M to $1B.

You will ensure resource availability and handle various administrative tasks with a focus on safety and compliance. Ideal candidates have 1-3 years in construction, an engineering-focused degree, and a proven track record in

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• University Degree/Technology Diploma in Engineering, or equivalent.
• Proven project coordination and teamwork skills.
• Strong client service orientation for stakeholder engagement.
• Willingness to work on projects in remote regions as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the project team with project coordination and administrative support.
• Maintain open communication with team members, trade partners, consultants and clients.
• Diligently review, interpret and update construction schedules.
• Maintain shop drawings, RFIs, PO's, change notices, and project documentation.
• Review, collect and analyze project quotes for best market prices.
• Own collection and completion of project reports for assigned projects.
• Promote HS&E programs and ensure compliance on-site.

As a Project Coordinator within Pomerleau's Civil & Infrastructure division, you will play a key role at the heart of the Deep foundations business unit. You'll manage multiple activities and schedules to gain a clearer view of customer, team and project needs. Working on large‑scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion, you'll play a crucial role in communicating with stakeholders, ensuring resource availability and overseeing various administrative tasks.

What you will do

• Assist the project team with your keen eye for detail in providing project coordination and administrative support.
• Utilize your passion for client services in ensuring open lines of communication with our team members, trade partners, consultants and clients.
• Diligently review, interpret and update our construction schedules.
• Maintain, review and follow‑up shop drawings, RFIs, material purchase orders, change notice quotes and project completion documents.
• Review, collect and analyze project quotes, seeking the best prices in the market.
• Own the collection and completion of company‑wide project reports for your assigned projects.
• Be a role model for the application of project specific safety standards, helping to promote Pomerleau’s HS&E programs and applicable OH&S acts, regulations and codes with all employees and trade partners on‑site.
