Job summary

Englobe is seeking a project coordinator to join a dynamic team working on environment, renewable energies, transport, and climate markets across Canada. You will collaborate with design teams and clients to ensure timely, cost-conscious, and high-quality project delivery.

The role requires a post-secondary degree or equivalent in engineering, technologies, or project management, plus 1–3 years of experience. English proficiency is essential; French is a plus.

Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, or certification from a recognized post-secondary institution (Engineering, Technologies, or Project Management) or equivalent project coordination background (1–3 years). New grads considered.
  • Excellent command of English grammar, spelling and composition, as well as oral communication and interpersonal skills. French is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participates in projects, provides assistance, manages client input/feedback, and general coordination.
  • Working with single or multidisciplinary design teams on the project to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery.
  • Successfully develops relationships with clients, industry affiliates, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel.
  • Coordinates and assists with the preparation of engineering specifications, drawings, and quantity/opinions on probable cost.
  • Preparation of reports, proposals, and tender/bid submissions, budgets, project plans, and other supporting documentation, as required and directed by the project manager.
  • Coordinating tender phase and construction phase services, including the issuance of addendums, shop drawing review, and Request for Information (RFI) tracking.
  • Estimating and scheduling of projects, invoicing, including close out review, and update /maintenance of company-related data and resources.
  • Monitoring project budgets and tracking financial pursuits including proposals and change orders.
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s security policies and procedures.
  • The successful candidate may be based in Western Canada; however, this role supports operations and projects in Atlantic Canada, for projects all across the Country.

What Makes You Unique

  • Able to balance work and personal requirements;
  • Enjoys working in a professional office environment, with occasional client and/or site visits.
