Job summary

Englobe is seeking a Project Coordinator to join a dynamic team delivering across environment, renewable energies, transportation, and climate markets. You will support single or multi-disciplinary design teams, coordinate client input, prepare specifications and cost opinions, and help manage reports and bids.

The role emphasizes organization and communication across Western and Atlantic Canada, with a hybrid work setup. English is required; French is an asset; new grads are considered.

Qualifications

  • Degree, diploma, or certification in Engineering, Technologies, or Project Management, or equivalent 1–3 years experience; New grads considered.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel; strong English grammar, spelling and communication; French is a plus.
  • Confidence to participate in meetings and coordinate with team members in person, on the phone, and by email.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participates in projects, provides assistance, manages client input/feedback, and general coordination.
  • Works with single or multidisciplinary design teams to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery.
  • Develops relationships with clients, industry affiliates, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel.
  • Coordinates and assists with preparation of engineering specifications, drawings, and cost opinions.
  • Prepares reports, proposals, tender/bid submissions, budgets, and project plans as directed by the project manager.
  • Coordinates tender and construction phase services, including addendums, shop drawing reviews, and RFI tracking.
  • Estimating and scheduling, invoicing, close-out review, and maintenance of company data.
  • Monitors budgets and tracks financial pursuits including proposals and change orders.
  • Applies Englobe’s health and safety and security policies and procedures.

Your Main Responsibilities
  • Actively participates in projects, provides assistance, manages client input/feedback, and general coordination;
  • Working with single or multidisciplinary design teams on the project to ensure efficient and sustainable project delivery;
  • Successfully develops relationships with clients, industry affiliates, engineers, technologists, technicians, and construction personnel;
  • Coordinates and assists with the preparation of engineering specifications, drawings, and quantity/opinions on probable cost;
  • Preparation of reports, proposals, and tender/bid submissions, budgets, project plans, and other supporting documentation, as required and directed by the project manager;
  • Coordinating tender phase and construction phase services, including the issuance of addendums, shop drawing review, and Request for Information (RFI) tracking;
  • Estimating and scheduling of projects, invoicing, including close out review, and update /maintenance of company-related data and resources;
  • Monitoring project budgets and tracking financial pursuits including proposals and change orders;
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety policies and procedures;
  • Apply and promote Englobe’s security policies and procedures;
  • The successful candidate may be based in Western Canada; however, this role supports operations and projects in Atlantic Canada, for projects all across the Country.
What Makes You Unique
  • Degree, diploma, or certification from a recognized post-secondary institution(Engineering, Technologies, or Project Management)or equivalent project coordination background(minimum1-3 years).New Grad’s will be considered;
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel are required;Excellent command of English grammar, spelling and composition, as well as oral communication and interpersonal skills. French language skills considered an asset;
  • Confidence to participate in regular meetings, and eager to coordinate with team members in person, on the phone, and via email;
  • Professional, energetic, and action-oriented;
  • Strong organization, time management, and prioritization skills;
  • Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills;
  • Ability to work individually and as a team member, within a dynamic, fast-paced, deadlinedriven environment;
  • Effectively manages a variety oftasksand/or initiatives, often occurring simultaneously;
  • Able to balance work and personal requirements;
  • Enjoys working in a professional office environment, with occasional client and/or site visits.
