Job summary

Englobe in Canada is seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager to lead multidisciplinary projects across environment, energy and infrastructure sectors. You will supervise field and office work, prepare technical reports, and contribute to bids and proposals while ensuring health and safety compliance.

The role requires a Geotechnical/Civil Engineering degree, an Ontario P.Eng, and 3–5 years’ post-designation experience. Hybrid work is available with competitive benefits and growth opportunities.

• University degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering.
• P.Eng designation in Ontario is required.
• 3–5 years post-designation experience preferred.
• Experience with geotechnical drilling and slope stability is an asset.
• Experience writing proposals, specifications and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules.
• Manage multiple projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate, supervise and perform field and office duties.
• Prepare proposals, qualification packages and project submittals.
• Generate and review technical monitoring plans and reports.
• Participate in project management and safety inspections.
• Support business development with new client engagement.
• Occasional overtime, evenings or weekend work as needed.
• Attend project meetings and site inspections with guidance.

Your Main Responsibilities

• Apply and promote Englobe’s health and safety rules;
• Manage multiple projects of various sizes from start to finish;
• Coordinate, supervise and perform field and office responsibilities;
• Manage and/or generate deliverable documentation of various projects including technical monitoring plans, monitoring reports and project submittals;
• Prepare proposals and qualification packages;
• Consistently execute prescribed technical procedures and work plans;
• Participate in project management meetings, office meetings, health, and safety inspections;
• Actively marketing the company’s products and services to new and existing clients through business development initiatives;
• Flexibility and adaptability to scheduling changes and occasional overtime, evening, or weekend work;
• Attending project meetings and carrying out site inspections when technical guidance and support as required;
• Maintain a commitment to exceeding client expectations by consistently delivering high quality of work;
• Consistently maintain professionalism and objectivity while working with colleagues and clients who require varying degrees of support;
• Handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy to maintain positive working relationships with all internal and external contacts;
• Conduct project administration tasks as required, including timesheet generation and project invoicing.

What Makes You Unique

• University Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field;
• Possession of a Professional Engineering (P.Eng) designation in Ontario is required;
• Minimum of 3-5 years’ post-designation experience required;
• Experience and knowledge with Geotechnical drilling, foundation design, settlement analyses, and slope stability assessments, would be an asset;
• Experience writing proposals, specifications, case studies, technical and non-technical reports.

The salary range for this position is $83,604 to $109,730 CAD base per annum, based on the responsibilities of the role, internal equity, and current market benchmarks. The final offer will be determined based on a combination of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications, their positioning within our internal compensation structure, and relevant geographic cost-of-living considerations, where applicable. This range represents a realistic and good-faith estimate of the compensation we expect to offer for this role.

Compensation may also include a comprehensive benefits package, performance incentives, or bonus eligibility depending on role level and business unit. We aim to foster transparency, respect candidate time and ensure equitable compensation aligned with our company values.
