Job summary

Englobe is seeking a Senior Civil Project Manager in Atlantic Canada to lead planning, design, and delivery of municipal, land development, and infrastructure projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage proposals, budgets, and client communications while ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree, P.Eng. eligibility, and 8+ years in consulting-related civil projects, with proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic modelling

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and P.Eng. eligible/registered.
8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience, preferably in consulting.
Proven ability to deliver municipal, transportation, land development projects.
Experience preparing designs, reports, specs, and contract docs.
Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and hydraulic/modelling tools.

Responsibilities

Lead planning, design, and delivery of civil projects for municipal and infrastructure clients.
Manage projects from proposal to delivery: scope, budget, schedule, resources, client comms.
Prepare and review technical reports, designs, specs, and cost estimates.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality control to project teams.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies.
Support business development through proposals and client networking.
Participate in stakeholder meetings and provide guidance during execution.
Conduct site visits, field reviews, and construction administration tasks.
Ensure compliance with codes, standards, and quality procedures.
Promote Englobe’s health and safety culture across projects.

Your Main Responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and delivery of civil engineering projects for municipal, land development, transportation, and infrastructure clients;
Manage projects from proposal through completion, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and client communication;
Prepare, review, and oversee technical reports, engineering designs, specifications, contract documents, and cost estimates;
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and quality control to engineers, EITs, technologists, and other project team members;
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams and work collaboratively with internal specialists, clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders;
Support business development initiatives through proposal preparation, client relationship management, networking, and identifying new opportunities;
Participate in client, consultant, and contractor meetings and provide technical guidance throughout project execution;
Conduct site visits, condition assessments, field reviews, and construction administration services as required;
Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with applicable codes, standards, client requirements, and quality management procedures;
Promote and uphold Englobe's health and safety culture in all aspects of project planning and execution.

What Makes You Unique

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering;
Registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in New Brunswick and/or Nova Scotia;
Minimum 8 years of progressive civil engineering experience, preferably within a consulting environment;
Strong experience delivering municipal infrastructure, transportation, land development, and civil engineering projects;
Demonstrated success managing projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining client relationships;
Experience preparing engineering designs, technical reports, specifications, and contract documents;
Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related civil engineering software;
Experience with Hydrocad, PCSWMM, and other hydraulic or stormwater modeling software is considered an asset;
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills;
Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel occasionally throughout Atlantic Canada.
