Main Purpose and Function
Under the supervision of the Child Care Program Coordinator, the Program Assistant III is responsible for monitoring programs and activities, preparing and maintain records, ensures program compliance of policies and regulations and assist with supply and maintenance requests. The position provides leadership and support to a team of Children Activity Leaders in a licensed Out of School Care facility for children 5-12 years old. The Program Assistant III ensures the implementation of planned activities based upon the philosophy stated in the aims and objectives of the Child Care Centre and the Britannia Community Services Centre.
