We are seeking a dedicated Professional Cook who is committed to creating exceptional dining experiences and contributing to a supportive, collaborative team environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Prepare and bake desserts, soups, and a variety of nutritious, appetizing meals.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen, ensuring all food safety and handling procedures are followed.
  • Label, date, and store food properly to support accurate stock rotation.
  • Coordinate with colleagues to meet meal service timelines and share equipment and workspace effectively.
  • Communicate with dishwashers and servers to support smooth cleanup and service flow.
  • Engage briefly with residents to ensure they are satisfied with their meals and overall dining experience.
  • Complete required documentation, including inventory records, supply orders, equipment logs, and cost tracking.
What You Bring
  • Secondary school completion.
  • A culinary program certificate or several years of proven cooking experience.
  • Food Safe Certification.
  • Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check.
  • A team-focused, self-motivated approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • A clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening.
  • A negative TB test and up-to-date immunization record.
