Your Role and Responsibilities
- Report to the Product Management Manager as part of the Electrification Installation Products (ELIP) group, working with internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Understand market requirements in a specific area and translate these into offering specifications and development activities.
- Support development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability activities for industrial products in ELIP Canada.
- Conduct market analysis, including evaluations of market size, trends, and competitor analysis to identify offering gaps.
- Manage the technical specifications of assigned products and support the product portfolio.
- Assist in creating business cases for new development projects and support new portfolio development.
- Support marketing programs and ensure the availability of training materials.
- Drive technical solutions across the portfolio and maintain the annual product management cycle.
- Support product launch activities from project specification to market introduction.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and deliver product training to stakeholders.
- Assist in pricing analysis and contribute to marketing tools development.
- Propose new offerings or enhancements to meet customer needs and participate in gate process reviews.
Qualifications for the Role
- Degree in Engineering or Technology (Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical) or a BSc in Engineering, preferably Mechanical.
- 5+ years of B2B industry experience.
- Fluent in English and French; French is required.
- Project management skills and effective time management.
- PE certification is a plus.
- Knowledge of industry standards such as ANSI, IEEE, NEC, NEMA, NFPA 70E, UL.
- Experience in market trend analysis and product lifecycle support.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, curious, and willing to travel up to 10%.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AI tools.
