Product Management Manager - ELIP commer
Reporting to the Product Management Manager as part of the Electrification Installation Prod-ucts (ELIP) group, you will be working with internal teams to maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction.Ensuring ABB has a full understanding of market requirements in a specific area and can trans-form these requirements into offering specifications and development activities.Performing various offering life cycle activities supporting development, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability.As a Product Specialist, you will perform various Product Management activities to assist in the launch, maintenance, and profitability of Industrial Products in ELIP Canada.This role is contributing to the Electrification, Installation Products division of ABB and is located in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.The work model is hybrid with 2 days per week at the office.• Market Analysis: Follows and understands global or assigned area standards, market and customer requirements and their impact on the offering portfolio. Conducts valua-tions of market size and trends, conducts competitor analyses including identification of offering gaps and evaluates the ABB position.• Existing Portfolio: Ensures technical solutions can be used across the Product Group’s offering portfolio as far as is possible. Manages the technical specification of product assigned and supports the Product Portfolio.• New Portfolio Development: From identified opportunities, supports the Product Man-ager in creating the business case for development projects and participate to new port-folio development.• Offering to Market: Supports marketing programs. Ensures appropriate training material is available for use both internally and externally.• Process Development: Drives technical solutions across the portfolio. Maintains and fol-lows annual cycle of activities to govern product management for assigned offering.• Product Launch: Supports the offering development process from project specification to offering launch. Assists sales and marketing teams in the launch and selling of new of-fering. Support product launch activities.• Customer Relations: Collaborates with internal teams (i.e. Manufacturing, Quality, Engi-neering, Research & Development, Supply Chain, and Logistics) to ensure customer satis-faction.• Training: Develop and deliver product training to internal and external stakeholders.• Price List: Supports the Product Manager with pricing analysis.• Marketing Tools: Contributes to the preparation of marketing tools to support the busi-ness and the Sales organizations.• Product Improvement Activities: Proposes new offering development or offering enhancements in order to offer suitable and unique solutions to customer needs. Contributes to the definition of new offering technical characteristics by providing specific expertise. Represents PM function in gate process reviews.
