Mercedes-Benz Thornhill is seeking a Service Advisor to guide customers through maintenance scheduling and repair planning, while delivering exceptional service and building lasting relationships. In this role you will greet customers, coordinate with technicians, provide repair recommendations, present accurate estimates, and ensure clear communication from intake to vehicle release.

A customer‑centred attitude and automotive knowledge are essential in our fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education preferred.
• Experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-service role within the automotive industry is preferred.
• Strong automotive knowledge and understanding of vehicle systems and repairs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in automotive service software and other relevant computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line customer service and sales for the Service Department.
• Greet customers by phone or in person and ascertain the visit reason (maintenance, repairs, warranty).
• Coordinate with customers and technicians to address questions and progress of repairs.
• Provide repair recommendations and accurate estimates of costs and time required.
• Keep customers informed about repair status and follow up as needed.
• Maintain complete service records and promote service and parts promotions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
