Are you ready to start a hands-on career in property maintenance? Join our team as a Porter and gain valuable experience while training to become a successful member of our Multi-Family Maintenance department. This is a great opportunity for individuals interested in building a long-term career in property management and maintenance.

What You’ll Learn and Do:
  • As a Porter, you’ll receive on-the-job training in all aspects of apartment maintenance, working under the guidance of experienced professionals.
  • Your daily responsibilities will include: Assisting and taking direction from the Multi-Family Maintenance Supervisor
  • Learning how to conduct maintenance checks in apartment units to identify and resolve issues
  • Gaining experience in basic plumbing repairs and safety checks
  • Learning to inspect and maintain appliances for proper operation
  • Performing preventative maintenance such as caulking, cleaning wall heaters, and attaching shower guards
  • Assisting with unit turnover preparation to ensure new residents move into clean, safe homes
  • Participating in property-wide upkeep, including gutter and siding repairs, exterior painting, and pavement patching
  • Keeping common areas and grounds free of trash and debris
  • Maintaining a positive, respectful attitude with residents, coworkers, and supervisors
