Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Production Manager for the St-Constant Cement Plant to lead safety, financial performance and operations. You will develop budgets, manage KPIs, and ensure alignment with sales and logistics while building a culture of agility, collaboration and empowerment.

The ideal candidate brings 10 years of manufacturing experience, 5 years of progressive leadership, bilingual French/English, and familiarity with cement production. Strong analytical and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering or related field is required.
• 10 years of industrial manufacturing experience and 5 years of progressive management experience.
• Knowledge of MS Office, Google Suite, and SAP is required.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Experience in cement manufacturing is an asset.
• Demonstrated team leadership and strong problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and change management skills.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and health policies are adhered to across plant operations.
• Develop budgets, cost-saving initiatives and KPI targets; participate in PDP process and budgeting.
• Collaborate with Sales, Distribution and Procurement to meet market demand and optimize costs.
• Oversee plant operations from raw materials reception to cement grinding; drive efficiency and best practices.
• Lead environmental, safety and community relations; maintain regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and develop staff; ensure proper staffing, succession planning and adherence to the Collective Agreement.
