Job summary

Jardeg Recruiting is seeking a Foreperson Pipefitter to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Outage.

Shift options include day and night with accommodations in a camp and flights provided from Edmonton and Calgary. The role requires Journeyperson Certification (Red Seal) and/or a valid apprenticeship, plus safety credentials CSTS 09/CSO, Confined Space, Fall Protection and Basic Rigging.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certification or Red Seal required.
• Prior completion of a recognized apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test required.
• CSTS 09 or CSO certification.
• Confined Space, Fall Protection and Basic Rigging training are required.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems used in processing facilities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of piping components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment to check for leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Jardeg is recruiting Foreperson Pipefitter’s to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Outage. Day and night shifts are available. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as October 1st and lasting as late as October 26th.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
