Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting Apprentice Pipefitters to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Outage. Day and night shifts are available.

Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary. Responsibilities include laying out, assembling, fabricating, maintaining and repairing piping systems and demonstrating knowledge of components through accurate measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending.

Qualifications

• Registered Apprentice status required.
• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
• CSTS 09 or CSO certification required.
• Confined Space and Fall Protection training.
• Basic Rigging knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems used in processing.
• Demonstrate knowledge of piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment to check for leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Jardeg is recruiting Apprentice Pipefitter’s to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Outage. Day and night shifts are available. Flights are provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as the beginning of October and lasting as late as October 26th.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
