Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting Apprentice Millwrights to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 October Outage. Day and night shifts are available with flights provided from Edmonton and Calgary.

The role focuses on mechanical maintenance, with responsibilities including reading manuals, performing preventive maintenance, and precision lubrication. Camp accommodations and travel details are provided.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
• CSTS 09 or CSO certification.
• Confined Space training.
• Fall Protection training.
• Basic Rigging knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret equipment manuals to determine standard operating and maintenance procedures.
• Perform scheduled or preventive maintenance in mechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic repairs of equipment.
• Lubricate moving parts including bearings, gears and shafts; attach motors and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as October 5th and lasting as late as October 23rd.

• Read and interpret equipment manuals to determine standard operating and maintenance procedures.
