Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting Apprentice Pipefitters to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Outage. Day and night shifts, camp accommodations, and flights from Edmonton/Calgary are provided.

As part of a reputed team, you’ll contribute to piping projects during the outage window, with a temporary assignment starting in October and lasting through late October.

Qualifications

• Registered Apprentice
• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
• CSTS 09 or CSO
• Confined Space
• Fall Protection
• Basic Rigging

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.

Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders who have been executing work at the Albian site for over a decade. This is a temporary role starting as early as the beginning of October and lasting as late as October 26th.
