Job summary

Jardeg is recruiting a Foreperson Pipefitter to join the Heartland Constructors Inc. team at the CNRL Albian site near Fort McMurray, Alberta for the 2026 Fall Outage. Day and night shifts are available, with flights provided from Edmonton and Calgary, and camp accommodations on site.

The temporary role starts as early as October 1 and lasts through October 26. You will layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems and ensure safe operation, using testing equipment to check

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Certification and/or Red Seal.
• Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
• CSTS 09 or CSO.
• Confined Space.
• Fall Protection.
• Basic Rigging.

Responsibilities

• Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
• Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
• Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
